Our vision goes beyond Oswego, Chicagoland, and Illinois to the nations of the world. This is God’s heart, for every person on Earth to hear His amazing message of love and grace that lifts them out of hopelessness and despair. Jesus has given us a mandate to “go into all the world” and preach the gospel. The word gospel means good news! We have good news for the world and in order for them to hear it, we must go to them.
Romans 10:14-15 (NLT)
But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, “How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!”
As a local church, we will reach the world by personally going on missions’ trips and through our financial support of other world-wide missionaries and their efforts around the globe.
